Initially, we are focussing our work on homes in and around Newbury and Thatcham going out to Enborne, Speen, Boxford, Winterbourne, Chieveley, Hermitage, Cold Ash, Bucklebury, Midgham and Brimpton. We aim to expand as more volunteers join us.

Full draught-proofing will save on average £100 or more per year. Draught-free homes are comfortable at lower temperatures – so you’ll be able to turn down your thermostat. This could save you another £60+ per year
We do not ask for payment, but if you are able to make a donation towards the cost of materials used that will enable us to support another household
We will contact you in advance to arrange a suitable date and time to call. Two volunteers will visit, and the assessment and fixing is normally done within two hours
We will advise you if your insulation looks as if it could be improved, and can give contact details for installers, but we can't do this work for you
